The stories of ordinary people, struggling to survive in extraordinary circumstances is told using a variety of media such as actors, audios, figures and graphics. It begins with the horrific Gaol conditions before the reforms and then covers the 1798 Rebellion and the impact of the transportation of 50000 Irish convicts to Australia.
