My
Visit To Dublin
The
Enjoyment Continues
During
my holiday I also went for a few movies like The Brother (a Japanese movie
with English subtitles) which was a story of the underworld and stuff
and the 'yakuzas' (who cut fingers when you commit a mistake..eeeeeks!!!)
in Japan. One lesson I learnt was to watch out for my fingers if I ever
land up in Japan!!! I went to lots of parks - St Stephen's Green in the
centre of Dublin was my favourite. I went out in the car with Dave and
Niki, we spent a day driving around the country roads of County Wicklow,
and we spent a couple of hours going round the old Wicklow Jail, which
was a real jail for 200 years from 1700 to 1900, and it was really spooky!!
It is now set up as a museum, and is a favourite tourist attraction in
the area.
Dave
and Niki live in the countryside just outside Dublin, and we went for
lots of long walks up Killiney Hill, which has spectacular views across
the whole of Dublin, and the sea, and you can see for miles. They also
had a plan to make me more fit so I started a bit of exercising and I
realised the importance of daily exercise.
