My Attempt At Drinking

Many evenings we would hit one of the pubs (Irish people like drinking beer and they have lots of pubs!!!). Everyone who goes to Ireland has to try their famous national drink, which is Guinness - it tastes very strong, and I had one mixed with Coke to make it taste sweeter! I also tried my first glass of wine, but I think I drank it too quickly because I just wanted to get rid of it and then I felt very strange for an hour or two afterwards!! Niki and Dave were having a good time pulling my leg when I was slightly drunk.

My Attempt At Gardening

Dave and Niki's house has a big garden and the grass was as high as the knees when I was there, and one day they finally got a man in to cut it all. After he had finished, all the grass he had cut was just lying on the ground, and it had to be raked up and collected so it wouldn't kill the new grass underneath. So Niki and I spent 2 days in the garden with a rake, and a wheel barrow and clearing it up. It looked much better afterwards. That was my first experience of gardening!!!! And I was quite impressed by it :-)
