My Visit To Dublin

The Excitement Is Generated

boredDublin, Ireland!!!!. Sounds exciting. Finally I was getting a break from my normal routine life in Mumbai and I really needed it. It all started when my sister (Niki) and brother-in-law (Dave) invited me to Ireland to spend my vacation with them. And then started my struggle to get things organised as there were so many hassles getting the visa and the flight tickets organised. These were the two big ones (struggles, I mean!!!) . I forgot to tell u about the smaller one's including rickshaws, buses, taxis, telephone operators, lazy attendants, incompetent travel agents, etc, but I won't get into that. The problem with the visa was the inefficiency of the embassy in India. They forgot to specify an important document and that was enough to delay my application procedure by a week. The problem with the tickets was that each agent was offering me a different price and when I told them some other agent is giving at a lesser price they would immediately reduce theirs. Man, talk about work ethics!!!!!

wooohoooooooooooI finally managed to get everything sorted out in the last day and then I went rushing around at the last minute looking for some presents for Dave and Niki - it was difficult because I hadn't seen Niki for over 10 years, and I had never met Dave, so I didn't know what they'd like. In the end, I found some things hoping that they would like it. I finally started to think about my trip as I didn't know what to expect when I got to Ireland. I had never been to a foreign country apart from Dubai (where I was born and brought up) and India, and I had no idea what Ireland and Irish people would be like.
