My
Visit To Dublin
Transport
System

The
public transport is very good - much better than Mumbai. There is the
train (called the DART - Dublin Area Rapid Transit) which is great . It
was a lovely experience on The DART as it was a different train altogether
and I started comparing it to the local trains in India. The comparisons
are; DART to Mumbai respectively, closed doors to open doors, nice comfortable
seats to old ragged seats, cleanliness to filth, nice view to no view
at all and finally reasonably crowded to overcrowded till the extent of
no breathing space!!! The best part about it was that there were no people
hanging on the doors and windows and no special seats on the roof!!!!
Most of the buses are double decker, and I always tried to sit on the
upper deck as the view was so lovely.
The Fun & Enjoyment
Begins
Ireland
is such a beautiful place and there was so much to do out there that I
was never bored. There is so much sightseeing to do, I would go out every
day on the bus or the DART and go exploring. I travelled to Dun Laoghaire
(it's pronounced Dun Leary), to Blackrock, to Howth - which is a beautiful
little seaside village and lots of other places. I visited the Natural
History Museum, the Maritime Museum, Trinity College (which was massive
and it was much more bigger than my college Mumbai), the National Sea-Life
and Temple Bar.
